9th Grade:
Event: Shadow current Athletic Training Student Aides (ATSAs)

Purpose: Gives the students a view of what they will be participating in later on in the academy.
10th Grade:
Event: Participate in the equipment set-up and coverage as a first responder of all school athletic events, under the supervision of a Certified Athletic Trainer.

Purpose: Gives the students the opportunity to gain experience in the field of athletic training.
11th Grade:
Event: Participate in the equipment set-up and coverage as a first responder of all school athletic events, under the supervision of a Certified Athletic Trainer.

Sports Administration Track
9th Grade:
Event: Observation and shadowing of SSA interns in marketing events

Purpose: gives students a base understanding of the marketing events and the role of the SSA
10th Grade:
Event: Creation of ticket packages as prepared by minor league baseball and reviewed by Daytona Tortugas staff member
# of Anticipated Participants: 7
Purpose: To give the student insight into development of different ticket concepts as it relates to minor league sports and the community
11th Grade:

Event: Daytona International Speedway Career Day with speakers and inside tours

# of Anticipated Participants: 20

Purpose: Students are given VIP access to the inside of Motorsports industry along with one on one dialogue with NASCAR executives

12th Grade:

Event: Daytona State College Marketing review and focus group

# of Anticipated Participants: 6

Purpose: Students have the opportunity to evaluate the marketing of DSC for students and other aspects of school’s operation with input from DSC President and trustee
